BASIC EVANGELIZATION TRAINING IS COMING IN APRIL!

THEOLOGICAL STUDIES: At its core Christianity is “an encounter with a Person” Jesus Christ. (Pope Francis). These sessions are designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding of the fundamentals of the Catholic Church and Faith. These include traditional Bible studies, videos and movies.  If you would like to attend, register via the website. THEOLOGY SERIES LEADERS: The office of Religious Education is always looking faithful Catholics who would like to share their faith and knowledge with others. If you have the knowledge, desire and feel you are called to this ministry please contact me. We welcome your involvement. There are many ways you can help: Lead a study, become a facilitator, or help with organization and set-up.

Summer Catechism Short Course

Join Jim Gregory and Joe Mullen (AKA Dickey and Tommy Smothers) as we explore our Catholic Faith. Jim and Joe will cover the four Pillars of our Catholic Faith using the book This is our Faith.  Designed to enhance your knowledge of the fundamentals of our Faith as expressed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the course will be augmented with additional videos and material.  Sessions will include “A-mews-ing” discussion and of course Coffee and Cake!

Sessions: Morning 8:00 am – 9:30 am or Evening 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Come to whichever class best suits your schedule (multiple sessions if you want).

  • Session One:  Profession of Faith part one – Monday July 15th
  • Session Two: Profession of Faith part two – Monday July 22nd
  • Session Three: The Christian Mystery – Monday July 29th
  • Session Four: Life in Christ – Monday August 5th  Sunday August 4th is our Parish Picnic!
  • Session Five: Prayer Life – Monday August 11th
