Annual Spanish Conference

On Saturday, September 6 we are having the 2nd Annual Spanish Catholic Conference, “Walking In Our Faith,” at the Diocesan Center, 4800 Union Deposit Rd., Harrisburg, with dynamic presenters, St John the Evangelist, “Hermanos Cheo” from Puerto Rico.  We will have praise, presentations, reflections & Sunday Mass with Bishop Senior. The registration fee is $20 which includes lunch. For registration visit the Diocesan website. This Conference is held in Spanish. Get Connected-Young Adult Mass and Cookout – September 7

Calling all young adults ages 18-39 throughout the Diocese! You are invited to join us on September 7th for our annual Get Connected Mass and Cookout! Come meet other faithful young adults from all across south central PA. Are you part of a young adult group? Come share what your group has been up to (and maybe gain some new members). Not part of a young adult group yet? Come see what event options and awesome communities are out there (there are more than you think). Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. at St Margaret Mary Church in Harrisburg. Cookout to follow in the pavilion area right next door. There is no payment required (though we encourage you to bring a potluck dish to share). Hope to see you there!

Mass for Hope and Healing

Bishop Timothy Senior will celebrate the Mass for Hope & Healing on Tuesday, September 9, at 7 p.m. at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, Mount Joy. During this Mass, we will pray for and with survivors of clerical sexual abuse. All are encouraged to attend.

The Pennsylvania March for Life:

The 2025 Pennsylvania March for Life will be on Monday, September 22, 2025, in Harrisburg. Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be offered prior to the March at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick starting on Sunday, September 21st at 2:00 pm, lasting overnight, and ending at 9:00 am on Monday, September 22nd.

9:30 A.M. – March for Life Opening Mass, Cathedral of St. Patrick

11:00 A.M. – March for Life Rally, State Capitol steps

12:00 Noon – March for Life March

Vacancy – Cemetery Maintenance & Service

Resurrection Cemetery has a full-time opening for Cemetery Maintenance and Service. Applicants must have skills in grounds maintenance. The ability to operate a backhoe is desirable but training will be given. Other equipment that will be used: tractor, pickup, mowers and a variety of small equipment related to cemetery maintenance and operation. Must be a good team player who is able to take direction and demonstrate tact, courtesy and diplomacy. Applicant must have valid clean PA driver’s license. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. This is a manual position requiring physical fitness with the ability to lift (up to 50 lbs regularly), bend, stoop, climb and be mobile (on your feet) for most of the day. Vacancy – Director of Appeals


The Office of Stewardship and Development at the Diocese of Harrisburg is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to serve as the Director of Appeals. This is a new position that will support innovative and dynamic initiatives to create an encounter with Christ, to foster joy and peace, and to cultivate faith, hope and love for all who live in this community. This role is crucial in driving the success of annual fundraising initiatives and ensuring the continued support for the mission and ministries of the Church in Central Pennsylvania. This is a full-time position with occasional evening or weekend events. Occasional travel within the Diocese of Harrisburg and beyond for donor meetings and fundraising events is expected. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred); minimum of five years of experience in fundraising, with a focus on annual giving; proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and donor relationship management; strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills; proficiency with fundraising software and donor management systems. Vacancy – Development Office Database Administrator

The Office of Stewardship and Development at the Diocese of Harrisburg is seeking a Database Administrator. The Development Database Administrator is responsible for the utilization, oversight and advancement of the development database.
