Warmth from the Heart
Our church wants to help our community stay warm next winter with your help. Yes, we didn’t finish this winter, yet, but we are planning ahead. Spring is coming and winter is fading; before you put away your winter clothing, or items that are too small for the little ones, consider giving those things you’re unable to use to someone in our community: an infant, a child, at teenager, an adult, or an elderly person. Give from your heart to provide warmth to someone else. “Isaiah 58:7 Give clothes to those in need: don’t turn away your relatives.”
Please provide clean gently worn items: coats, jackets, boots, sweaters, sweatshirts, sweat pants, flannels, snow pants, socks, hats, gloves, mittens, sheets, blankets, sleeping bags, or anything else that provides warmth. Please, nothing electrical! Please put your gently used items in a box or bags labeled “WARMTH FROM THE HEART” on the back tables in the cafeteria following masses.
Help is also needed with organizing, setting up, and the days of giving. Please contact Cindy Womer if you have questions and if you can help in any way!!
Set up is October 15 and providing Warmth to our Community is Oct. 16, 17, and 18. Please consider helping us extend our hearts to our community to keep people warm next winter.
