Food Cupboard
Bloomsburg Food Cupboard

The Bloomsburg Food Cupboard offers nutritious foods to anyone in our service area who requests help. We are open two days a week and feature a market in which each family can choose from different categories to select the foods their families prefer.

We distribute food every week on Tuesdays, from 11:30pm-2:10pm and on Sundays, from 9:15am-10:15am. All we require is a proof of residence in Bloomsburg, Central Columbia, Benton, Millville, or Southern Columbia School Districts.

The Food Cupboard is supported by dozens of churches, schools, organizations, and community businesses.

“Take action during Hunger Action Month and help us eliminate hunger!
Donate non-perishable items to our local GIANT from September 9-18. A collection bin will be located at the front of the store and all donations benefit the Bloomsburg Food Cupboard. Take action this September and help us eliminate hunger.”

The Giant corporation packed 250 backpacks for our local Bloomsburg Area Panther Packs this first week of September. Employees from our local and surrounding stores, as well as, corporate employees, all worked to put together sacks full of many food items and some school supplies for our local children. They did an amazing job!!
