St. Columba Catholic Church

Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg, PA

This group of lay members shares their faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ and the Roman Catholic Church with those who are entering the Catholic Church through a format of Bible reading, prayer, faith experience, and formal teaching.  Catechumens (those who are not baptized) and candidates (those who are baptized) are encouraged to enter fully with the teachings, sacraments, and traditions of the Catholic Church through group and individual experiences.  Also, Catholics, who have not completed their initiation sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist, are invited.

Meetings:

The RCIA group meets weekly, year-round, on Sundays, between the morning Masses, 9:00 to 10:15am.

Membership:

Anyone who desires to become Catholic and Catholics who have not received all of their initiation sacraments are welcome.

Members of the parish, who are in good standing in the Catholic Church, are welcome to assist in the formation on new members of our Catholic faith.
